Introduction to THAI massage

Thai massage is an ancient, thousands of years old healing technique that serves the harmony of body, mind and soul. During the treatment, the masseur uses various stretches and acupressure techniques that stimulate blood circulation and the flow of energy in the body. Thai massage not only relieves physical tension, but also helps reduce stress and create mental balance. During the treatment, the guest remains in comfortable clothing, and during the massage, the soles of the feet, spine and joints receive special attention. This form of massage uniquely combines stretching and pressure techniques, thus improving the flexibility of the body and relieving musculoskeletal problems. Regular use of Thai massage supports the functioning of the immune system and contributes to deep relaxation. It is suitable for all those who want to relieve everyday tension, increase their energy levels, or simply want a relaxing experience. During the experience, the body is recharged, the muscles relax, and the feeling of inner harmony is strengthened. Thai massage is a natural and holistic way to refresh both body and soul.

The history of Thai massage

Thai massage dates back thousands of years, with roots in India and China. According to tradition, the development of massage began after the birth of Buddha, around 500 BC, when ancient healing techniques and yoga elements were further developed by Buddhist monks in Thailand. The monks used massage not only for physical healing, but also to promote harmony between body and soul. In the 19th century, Thai massage became officially recognized as a form of medicine in Thailand. The techniques combine stretching, pressure point treatment and various movement sequences to help relieve physical tension, improve blood circulation and support the flow of energy in the body. By activating the “sen” lines, massage harmonizes the functioning of the body and mind, thus providing both physical and spiritual recharge. Modern Thai massage spread worldwide in the 20th century and is now one of the most popular forms of holistic healing. Regular treatment not only relaxes muscles, but also helps reduce stress and strengthen the immune system.
